Popping Into a New Era: The Ribbon Cutting of True American Popcorn

The scent of popcorn filled the air in Maryville, TN as True American Popcorn officially marked the start of a new era with the snip of a ribbon on Thursday, June 22nd. Lacey & Jared Hill, along with Trevor Jones, the new proud owners, stood smiling, ready to usher in a new epoch of flavor exploration and community building.

Serving Gourmet Popcorn Maryville

Taking over from "Pop" Korn's Gourmet Popcorn, the trio purchased this beloved local establishment in March of this year. They are now looking to build upon the solid foundation already established by the previous owners, all the while planning to push the flavor boundaries even further. Their aim? To make True American Popcorn an even more delectable and memorable experience for popcorn enthusiasts and the local community.

Excitement bubbled in the crowd as the Blount County Chamber of Commerce assisted in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The moment marked not only the official opening of True American Popcorn but also the commitment of the new owners to maintain the store's long-standing tradition of excellence, while introducing innovative additions to its offerings.

In the coming months, True American Popcorn plans to expand its business model to include fundraising initiatives, online popcorn subscriptions, and a wider range of in-store goodies. The goal is to make True American Popcorn not just a store, but a beloved local institution that brings people together through the universal love of popcorn.
